The State Board of Education in Arizona has mandated that on or after August 31, 2006 a Structured English Immersion Endorsement is required of all classroom teachers, supervisors, principals, and superintendents.
Brandman University College and ECC offers both the Structured English Immersion Provisional and Endorsement coursework through E-Mail Courses. These courses are approved by the State Board of Education in Arizona. Please refer to their website for approved higher learning institutes. All courses must be on the Arizona English Acquisition SEI Approval List.

The total tuition for EDZU 9611 Structured English Immersion II ( 3 credit hours) is $675.00. (Tuition costs include a $60.00 registration/transfer fee for each class except practicum for principal and superintendent. Practicum tuition includes a $100.00 registration/transfer fee for each class.)

Course Descriptions
EDZU 9611 Structured English Immersion II
This course satisfies the requirements for the 3 semester hours of courses or forty-five clock hours of professional development in the teaching of the English Language Learner Proficiency Standards adopted by the State Board of Education.
A total of four semester hours or 60 clock hours are required for partial fulfillment of the SEI Endorsement.
EDZU 9780 SEI 45 Hour Training
This course satisfies the requirements for the additional forty-five clock augmented hours of professional development in the teaching of English Language Learner Proficiency Standards adopted by the State Board of Education for Arizona.
